VJ* Present uses computers and midi-controllers to project images and video with effects. Responding and improvising to the very best music in the present moment. Every performance is a unique experience and has unique elements, reflecting the event-venue, dancers and audience, artists and live atmosphere.
VJ Present started projecting visual backdrops for Cork's digi-dub maestros Wiggle in 2006. In 2010 World Bass Culture (WBC) began collaborations with Wiggle and together they produced several tours and events in Ireland and Poland. VJ Present also performs with World Bass Culture, Revelation Sound System (Cork) and Rootical Sound System (Galway). Jim Conway is past learner of Multimedia Production at lcfe.ie and is currently studying a degree course in Immersive Digital Media at TUS Moylish.
